Christmas Baking, take two December 13, 2010

Yesterday, since everything was canceled because of the blizzard, I decided to get a start on our Christmas baking.  My favorite holiday cookies are Melting Moments, so I made those first, and failed miserable.  So bad, that I went to bed and napped.

With school canceled today I thought I would give it another go.. but trying out a new cookie.  I signed up for Food Networks 12 Days of Cookies and thought I would give Paula Deen’s Chocolate Gooey Butter Cookies

a try.  Oh my, they are yummy.  My 17 yo old son does not care for chocolate and went back for a second one, always a good sign.
